Senior Pastor
Our goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ across all corners of the earth.
Welcome to Bethesda Christian Center. As the senior pastor at BCC, I have witnessed a lot of changes over the years as churches seek to branch out, grow, and fulfill their calling in ministry. But at our church, our goal has remained the same: to fulfill God’s mission by spreading the gospel, winning souls to Christ, and making a difference in our community one step at a time. If you are looking for a church with a warm atmosphere where everyone views each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, then you’ve come to the right place.
ALL ABOUT JESUS
What We Believe
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. Eph. 2:8-9
Who God Is
The Godhead, 3 in 1 — is composed of the Father, His Son, Jesus Christ, & the Holy Spirit. God is our creator and the master of the universe. Jesus, the son of God, was born of the Virgin Mary. He came to earth to pay the ultimate sacrifice for our sin. The Holy Spirit is the comforter and advocate sent by Jesus to dwell within the believer, convict him/her of their sin, and enable them to live the Christian life.
What He Did
Jesus died on the cross for our sin and was resurrected on the 3rd day. In order to be saved you must believe in the Lord, Jesus Christ, as your personal savior and be born again. We are saved by grace alone; not through works. While a Christian will engage in good works by proxy of being saved, he/she understands that they can add nothing to their salvation.
What He Says
The Bible is the inerrant, infallible word of God. It is God-breathed and is the instruction manual by which we should live our lives. We believe in the existence of Satan and hell; every person who does not accept Jesus as their savior will be condemned for eternity. Christians will ultimately end up in heaven. We also believe that Jesus will come in the rapture to take his remnant up to heaven.
We are a church that believes in Jesus; accordingly, we obey God’s command to “Love God and love people.”
If this sounds like your type of church you are more than welcome to join us!
THE CHURCH
A message from our Pastor & his wife
While there are many different churches scattered across the globe, the reality is that, as believers, we are all members of one body: that’s the church. Jesus has called each and every one of us to do our part in our community. You have been gifted with spiritual gifts to enable you to fulfill God’s purpose in your life. Never forget what the Bible says. “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Mat. 5:14-16
